Everyday Walks

Basically we take a family walk everyday after supper. However, yesterday we knew we would be going to the Knox County Young Life Banquet and would miss our walk. (Not only are our walks for the purpose of exercise for us, but mostly for Polly. She needs to get her energy out!!) Since we didn't want to miss our walk we decided to go earlier while it was still pretty sunny. We didn't want the sun to get in Noah's eyes and since his hat was in the diaper bag we grabbed his sunglasses (Thanks Swygert Family). He's still getting use to sitting upright.

Football weekend

Noah likes the television so much I try not to turn it on during the day, however, when Saturday rolls around it is sure to be on a game. He loves to watch football. Here is a picture of Noah with his dad enjoying the game. Notice Noah wouldn't even look at the camera. The second one is when I went to put Noah down for a nap, he realized that he could see the game from his pack-n-play. He watched the game instead of napping so we had to move him to get that nap in. Sleep is very important to Noah!

The Hair!

Okay, I meant to do this a long time ago and never did. However, everyone keeps commenting on it...so Noah's hair is sandy blonde like mine. Everyone looks at the pictures and thinks he has brown hair like Matt and when they actually see him are surprised that it looks like mine. The lighting is never good hence the color change. Also his hair usually sticks straight up no matter what, like a Mohawk. I did give him a bath on Saturday though and since then his hair lays flat. Don't know why the change except that maybe it's getting longer. So anyway, Noah's hair is really blonde, and getting lighter with each bath, just so you guys far away know now and aren't surprised anymore.

Growing

Well, Noah went to the doctor a couple weeks ago. He weighed almost 12 pounds and got his first shots. He did as well as could be expected with the shots. He is continuing to get bigger with his wild hair and starting to lose the newborn look. He are a couple pictures from tonight. He's already thinking of how to fill daddy's shoes.

Playing with Polly...

So was I watching Noah play today with his play gym. He does a lot of cooing these days to try and carry on a conversation. Well, Polly was listening and thought that Noah wanted to play with her. She decided to bring Noah two of her toy balls. The outside ball and the inside ball so Noah could have a choice. She then laid beside him waiting for Noah to make his pick.

Both of the balls are yellow so you will have to look close. One is beside Noah's knee. The other is up by Noah's hand beside the flower.

Boomsday

We took Noah to Boomsday last night. We got there a little early because we weren't exactly sure what time the fireworks started. After getting Noah calmed down from being so hot he took a short nap. When he woke up the fireworks started and he watched the entire show. The only time he seemed bothered was when I tried to cover his ears when it got too loud. Here's the pics.
