Sleepy and What was that?

The funny events of the day. Noah and I went shopping this morning and apparently it must have worn him out. He was playing on his gym and the next time I looked down this is what I saw.

Once he woke up he rolled over! (Now he will occasionally roll from his tummy to his back, but I've never seen him go from his back to his tummy!!) Anyway, this is the face he made after the event. Not sure if even he knows what he did.

Too cute to pass up...

I took this after we came back from a walk the other day. Couldn't resist sharing. Of course I only took at seven photos to get this one.

Best Friends...

So I was cleaning the house yesterday, much to Noah's disapproval. He only wanted to sleep if I was holding him, so we didn't get many naps in. (Can we say spoiled? Yes, I know.) Anyway, I put him down on the couch beside me for a minute to see if he would stay asleep so I could go and get the laundry. Upon coming back with my basket this is what I found.

Polly finished her nap with her friend and I was off to wash windows. (Of course I stayed in the room for those of you wondering if I would leave Noah on the couch by himself.)

Fall is here and I found my thumb

So it is now Fall. At least it is starting to feel that was outside for the past two days. Gone are the shorts. We went to take Noah on his evening walk and had to bundle him up. Noah has also found his thumb. If he doesn't have a pacifier he has now started using his thumb. Actually, he hasn't decided what to use. His combinations are his thumb, his first two fingers, the side of his hand, or a thumb and a finger together.

Family Photo

Believe it or not we not have the first family photo. It only took three months to take. Oops!

Everyday Walks

Basically we take a family walk everyday after supper. However, yesterday we knew we would be going to the Knox County Young Life Banquet and would miss our walk. (Not only are our walks for the purpose of exercise for us, but mostly for Polly. She needs to get her energy out!!) Since we didn't want to miss our walk we decided to go earlier while it was still pretty sunny. We didn't want the sun to get in Noah's eyes and since his hat was in the diaper bag we grabbed his sunglasses (Thanks Swygert Family). He's still getting use to sitting upright.
