HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BOY!!!

On Saturday we celebrated Noah's birthday with family. We had a wonderful cookout with lots of fun! Noah did much better this year with the attention. I think he blew out his candle about three or four times. After the candle was gone he kept looking at Matt to relight it and do it again. Opening presents is always a joy and he has really caught on to this aspect as well. He is very thankful for all his wonderful presents and has officially tried them all out. Thank you, Thank you!!! Hope you enjoy the pictures from the party.

NOAH'S OFFICIAL BIRTHDAY DAY...
Since today is Noah's official birthday we weren't going to let it go by unnoticed. First we traveled to the zoo with some friends and had a great time looking at the animals. I'm surprised that every time we go back he knows exactly where the animals are and can point them out to me. After the zoo we had to take a long nap to get ready for the night activities. We took Noah to his favorite eating place...Chick-fil-a for dinner. He was so excited he was pointing it out before we got there. Once we finished eating we took him to Toys R Us to pick out his present. He had so much fun in the store we weren't sure we would get him out. In the end we came home with his new tee-ball set and two movies. He really already knows how to hit the ball off the tee, but we liked this model because with batteries it will shoot the ball up out of the stand so he can hit it in the air. (I'll let you know how long before he masters this skill as well.) Then we headed to a Rocky Top league basketball game. This is a league where a lot of college basketball players are home for the summer and have been divided up into teams and play against each other. Noah was excited to see them play, but Paisley was not. We ended up hanging out in the lobby for a couple minutes before Noah decided he didn't like watching without his sister. We came home and let Noah look at his new presents which means the tee-ball set is now an outside toy (we already knew that, but let him try it). He is now tucked into his bed, fast asleep dreaming about getting up to play baseball.

We HATE mosquitoes!!!

So we are now to the conclusion that Noah is allergic to mosquitoes. He had this problem last year that he would balloon up, but we thought he might outgrow it. Silly us, I guess. Every bite he gets turns out to be the size of a quarter or bigger. This is just one of the five he got yesterday. (Just in case you are wondering, dryer sheets do not work nor do the kid approved bug sprays.)
So the picture keeps rotating and I'm not sure why, but you get the picture.

Paisley's two months

Wow, it's hard to believe that little girl is now two months old. Time sure goes fast with two... Paisley is still a great baby and starting to sleep through the night. She puts up with a very loving big brother and has lots of patience. Yesterday we went to her two month check up where she got her shots. I have never seen her so upset even at birth. Luckily, we don't have to go back for another two months.
There is another bandaid on the other leg, but you get the point.

As for her stats she is a growing girl...
10 lbs. 13 oz. and 22 inches long.

Where have we been?

Well it depends on when you ask...it seems we have spent way too much time in the car lately, but had lots of fun adventures along the way. It all started with a trip to see Great Grandma Price, that led to Great Grandma and Grandpa Imler's house, to a wedding for cousin Janet, to a week long stay at the beach. I think that covers the road trip. We had a great time, but are also glad to be home and trying to get back into a routine. Noah's sleep is still a little off, but we're getting there.
Polly traveled to Indiana with us for the grandparents visits and wedding. However, she then switched cars and come home and stayed with Matt's parents while we were at the beach.
Paisley is Great Grandma Price's 30 something great grandchild. There were so many that she's lost count.
Noah waiting in the hotel for Matt to come back. It was a late night and an early morning.
Great Grandma Imler meets Paisley

Cousins Emma and Abigail meet Paisley while waiting for the wedding to start, Mr. and Mrs. Crawford, Paisley meets Aunt Andrea, Paisley sleeping under the table at the reception, and Noah letting us know that it is time to go
The new family photo
Paisley ready for the beach with Noah jumping waves and tasting the salt water. Not sure what it is, but he loves to put his face in the water. (This should come in handy for swim lessons in the future, but a little scary at the moment. You have to watch him closely during bath time.)
My Family (Yes, all 19 of us went out to dinner together with one waitress and loved her.)

Too much ball?!?

As you can tell from all the blog posts that Noah loves to play ball. He has basically picked up all the main sports now. Depending on what is on ESPN or the wii is what he decides to play at the moment. Well, yesterday we played golf and baseball all morning, typical, and then we started wrestling when I noticed his hand. SO how do you know if you're playing too much ball???

Blister!!

It doesn't seem to bother him and he doesn't even know it's there, but it caught me off guard.
(It's on his thumb if your wondering.)
