Splash Park

On Saturday Matt and I took Noah to a Splash park in Farragut. I went earlier in the week with a friend and Noah loved it so much I wanted Matt to see him play. I made sure he wore a baseball cap so the water didn't get directly in his face and he didn't seem to mind. He had lots of fun entertaining himself. (Matt and I didn't even get in the water.) Noah just walked around the place the whole time. One big kid even sprayed him with water from a toy and he didn't mind at all.

Yes, that is all water

Matt liked this picture because Noah was in the middle of the big kids just doing his own thing.

Soaked and happy

Who doesn't like wet baby feet

The great part was the Noah was so tired from playing in the sun and water that he slept great and we had to wake him up to go to church on Sunday.

How do you eat an Oreo cookie...

Noah had his first Oreo cookie after lunch Friday. He quickly realized they pull apart and make two cookies. Of course one side better than the other. Here is Noah's sequence...

Pull them apart for two cookies
Lick the icing off
Eat the cookie
One gone and one more to go
Eat the other side
Wash it down with milk

I love Polly

My favorite things to do with my Polly dog are playing ball and giving her hugs!!

Mac and Cheese day

Noah likes to eat Mac and Cheese for lunch. I decided to let him use a plate. When I turned around this is what I saw...
Get it off the plate any way you can.

Getting bigger...

So this is what happens when you out grow your PJ's and mom tries to buy you some new ones.

Actually we bought these awhile ago, but just pulled them out. The funny thing is that when I went to get him up this morning you couldn't see his hands, hence the looong sleeves, but the pant legs were up past his knees. My wish was for a camera then, but we would have had a very unhappy boy!

The fort

So most of you know that our dining room is now Noah's playroom. We never really used it much anyway so it's not a totally loss. The issue was that we didn't want to get rid of our furniture yet. What do you do with a table and four chairs? Well, if you're me you turn in into a fort for your child. Matt gave me the idea and this is what I came up with. Under the table is a touch light for Noah to use and yes he understands it and how it works. He has really enjoyed playing inside it as well as having us join him. These are the pictures I took yesterday of him peeking out and playing. I still have to put Velcro on the door so when he is older he can open them if he wants. That's why I propped the door open at the bottom. (The best part for me is that I can sew while he plays, hence the sewing machine on top.)

With the door open.
