tatoo

This is what happens when you leave your little boy at home with dad for the weekend. I went to Windy Gap this weekend with some friends to get the camp ready for summer. I left Matt in charge of Noah at home and received these pictures through a friends text. I must admit Matt had the hard job. Along with Matt being sick; Noah has been very sick this weekend with a few different things (cold, ear infections, congestion...) He's doing much better, but Matt had a tough job.

HAIRCUT!!!!

Noah had his first haircut today. I couldn't handle the hair in his eyes anymore. I don't think he could either, rubbing his eyes every few minutes.

Before...

During...

After...

It doesn't look the best, but it will do for the first time. Will I do it again? I don't know, but at least he doesn't have hair in his eyes anymore. Oh, and we gave him crackers to eat while I was cutting so he would sit still. It worked for the most part.

Here's a picture from a windows down car ride the other day. I forgot to post it. Noah didn't seem to mind the wind and actually was laughing the whole way to the store.

bubble bath

Noah also had his first bubble bath yesterday. He thought it was great when he would splash in the water and see all the bubbles move. I did not think this completely through I must admit and will need/use some different planning next time. I still consider it a success since I have a clean baby!

Sad realization

So, I will sometimes let Noah try new foods while I am cooking in the kitchen. A lot of times he crawls in from his playroom to find out what's going on. Yesterday was no different. Anyway, I gave him a small piece of broccoli to try which is promptly pulled out of his month and then crawled over to Polly and gave it to her. Yes, you read that right. He took it to her and fed her. I wish I could say that this only happened once, but he did the same thing with his cucumber piece. I know he throws food off his tray at meal times, but I didn't really think he understood he was feeding the dog. I guess he knows where to go when he doesn't like something on his plate. Isn't he a little young for that?!?

Boxes

Aren't the boxes always more fun than toys...

Oh, I'm getting pretty good at standing now too.
